June recently told her concierge that she wanted to communicate with her granddaughter more often. Our staff taught her how to use an iPad and the FaceTime app. June now uses FaceTime all the time, and she loves it!
Arrange Medical Appointments
Many of our members have regular doctor and lab appointments. Your concierge will be happy to organize transportation to and from these appointments. They can also arrange appointments for acute illnesses or injuries or coordinate with an elder care home health agency.
John had a niggling injury in his leg and back that constantly bothered him. When it got worse, he tried to get an appointment with his primary care provider but was going to have wait a long time to see him.
John called his concierge, and his concierge immediately called around and found him an appointment in a nearby clinic (one which already had access to his medical records) the very same day. The concierge also arranged transportation for John to be able to get to the clinic without stress.
Coordinate Home Maintenance Projects
If your loved one has home maintenance chores that they find overwhelming, they need only to ask their concierge. The concierge will take it from there. They will find, recommend, and schedule home improvement contractors and professionals to get the job done.
Ginny had a stain on the dining room ceiling for months that she had not been able to get fixed. We sent a maintenance specialist to take a look at it. He discovered that there was a leak in her roof that was causing water to collect above the ceiling. This job would require serious work.
Ginny’s concierge found highly recommended roofers in her area and suggested three of them. Ginny then chose the one she was most comfortable with to fix the damage.
